Hello Internets! Is it weird to say that I missed you? It was a force of will not to post this weekend. I was going to take off today, too, but I was bursting to post. You know I can’t stay away from you guys. 
Anyway, I have the day off today, and the house all to myself. So far, I’ve shuffled crap around the house, and vacuumed under the couches. I really need to clean MORE thouroughly MORE often. Or hire Merry Maids. Because for real, I think I had an asthma attack from all the dust I kicked up. I’m glad it’s clean now, but DAMN. Disgusting.

get the dry swiffer. after vacuming, you wont believe how much more crap this thing picks up on a floor you thought was now dust free. it amazes me every time.

Mike’s in charge of vacuuming so it’s safe to say when he finally gets around to it, the dust will be a-flyin’!

I got a new bagless vacuum, and it totally grosses me out to see how much crap it actually picks up!

Merry Maids would be awesome. I feel like since I live in an apartment I should be able to clean it myself, but I want a real deep cleaning this spring…good idea!

Yeah it felt a little weird not to post over the weekend. kinda good but then I kinda missed it too. and I agree on the swifter thing. makes you feel like you lived in a barn without it.

cleaning on your day off? A girl after my own heart. I have a tiny house, so the cleaning is very easy to manage. It’s the only good thing about having a kitchen that can barely fit two people.
