For people who don’t believe in Spendingtime’s Day, we sure buy each other a lot of presents on Feb 13th and Feb 15th. One of mine was the entire 3 seasons of Arrested Development.
WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG??????????? This show is so fucking funny. I just can’t understand why it’s off the air. Or maybe I can. Assholes like me who didn’t watch it until it was already cancelled.
There is so much to love about this show, but I think George Michael and GOB really steal the show. And just in case you doubt my squee-ish fangirl-ly devotion, Mr BananaGrabber is my computer wallpaper.
And now I really want a frozen banana.

Oh my LORD ! That is my all-time favorite TV show. BEST. SHOW. EVER.
Seriously, I was inconsolable when they canceled it. So glad you get to watch it all.

I’ve only watched the first season and I’m trying to pace myself because of the awesomeness.

I got Arrested Development too, but haven’t started watching it . . . yet. Now that you say so, I’m going to start tomorrow!

Raising my hand as one of the loyal “AD” followers WHILE it was on.
I miss it! Every single character was hilarious.
And here’s some trivia for you: I make a MEAN frozen banana. I worked at the same “banana stand” they are spoofing on the show when I was a teenager. They came in S, M, L and XL, and we had 12 toppings. I am a total pro.

That show was brilliant.
I watched it when it was originally on the air, then went back and watched again on DVD, with the wife.
I think for the most part, it was over the head of your average middle American television viewer. You have to be a little warped to begin with, to find the amazing humor in that show.
I was hoping that one of the pay cable networks like HBO or Showtime would pick it up.
Yet another show that feel to soon, along with “Freaks and Geeks”. You’ve seen those, no?
